How to use the screenshot function in LiveZilla?


Since version 1.1.0 of the LiveZilla desktop apps there is an inbuilt screenshot function available which allows your operators to take screenshots while chatting or in order to easily attach it to a ticket response.

Taking screenshots during a live chat:

  1. Accept an incoming chat and click on Actions -> Screenshot

  2. LiveZilla Screenshot Widget appears

  3. You can either choose an area on your screen or capture the whole desktop

  4. The screenshot is uploaded and sent to the customer in PNG format automatically

Attaching screenshots to a ticket response:

  1. Open the ticket and go to: Reply -> Attachments -> New -> Screenshot

  2. LiveZilla Screenshot Widget appears

  3. You can either choose an area on your screen or capture the whole desktop

  4. The screenshot is uploaded and attached to the ticket response in PNG format automatically
