Cancel Login Task

I've run into a very irritating issue with Livezilla....Throughout the day, I normally put my computer to sleep anywhere from 20 to 30 times, as I often leave to do other tasks. Many times when I bring my computer awake again, windows starts up before my network connection does. This causes Livezilla to sit and keep trying to log in (Even after the network connection is established - Livezilla will just sit in the taskbar, gray, trying to log in). The only way to fix the issue is to completely exit Livezilla and re-open it, which is a major pain, and I often forget to do it, and therefore am probably missing potential clients.

It would be great if Livezilla would try to log in for X seconds, and upon failure, try to log in again in X minutes. This would fix this issue completely for me. Another, less ideal, option, would be if I could cancel the login task and then redo it. This way I wouldn't have to completely exit the software.

Just ideas...

Hello,

The logon process is initiated by the Windows NetworkAvailable event. The problem is, sometimes (depending on the LAN driver) this event is launched before the network is available.

However, I am sure we can optimize this behavior in that way that you don't need to care about it anymore. I will see what I can do.

Hi there!

I went through the standby process and found a lot of things to improve. I hope the changes I made will cover your problem (I wasn't able to fully reprododuce it).

Please give it a try and tell me when you still have problems. The changes I made will be available in 3.1.7.6.

I do believe my issue is fixed, as the problem has not occurred at all today. Occasionally I will bring the computer back up and Livezilla will immediately tell me that it can't reach the server, instead of trying to log in infinitely.

Thank you!

Yes, we do not try to login infinitely at this time. Maybe we should consider to change the login behaviour.
