First off I have to say this is one of the best script/software i've found, I have been searching for a week for something thing like this and i am so greatful you guys made this and best of all you made it Free!, its so professional that at first i thought it would have cost something like $300US.

So THANK YOU :) Please continue to update it and keep it free if you can.

So, everything works perfectly, the chat, the geotracking, everything.

But when i try to put the chat into an iframe, it sticks at "Loading"
the code i'm using is simple

It loads into the iframe but sticks at "loading" and doesnt move. I place the code above in a regualr html and a regular php file and it doesnt work and tried it on two different servers.

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for a WONDERFUL product.

Who told you that it would work within an iframe? That's not a bug.

I will move this topic to the modifications section.

It's most likely because of how the livezilla.php file is created with sessions.

9 out of 10 it's never going to work. dont use iframe, its messy and it looks bad.

Hello and good morning ;)

okay, first let's say that livezilla is great! it's best to support customers having any question in whatever situation on the website!

but concerning the ifram problem: There's a partnercompany that would like to integrate out chat thingy (with our chat-support-ppl) in his website without showing the original URL (www.ticketdome.de) so ...
1. it's not possible to mask the URL
2. it's not possible to turn off the locationbar
3. there's is the session problem with an iframe (never use frames ;) )

most simple way seems to be to have a session running in the iframe.

I have to tell that the partner-company NEEDS to hide our address because thair customers MUST NOT see that the service is provided by us (ticketdome) and he has no chance to install the server on his webspace... so someone to help ? any suggestions ?

best regards,

Thorsten B.

2. it's not possible to turn off the locationbar
You can try that by changing the regarding javascript parameter. However, I think that will have some adverse effects (URL will be shown in status bar - modern browsers don't allow URL hiding).

Btw. Why is it so important to hide the URL? In the end it you will never be able to hide anything. In case somebody wants to know the URL, he will get the URL.

as far as I know it's not possible anymore, because of preventing phishing and skimming activities.

it is important to not show the real URL to the "default surfer". For shure anyone who WANTS to see, will see the real URL :) There is no aspect of phishing we need to do, just to show on the first view that we are acting in the name of ******** as a Service-Provider concerning the people doing the support chat. This is possible because both companies are dealing the same issues but some people don't like us and others like the other company ;) so we need to suggest we are "your" favored contact and not to show we are not "in the first row" :) That's alll ...

thanks for more future suggestions to come :)

Regards,

Thorsten B.

Ok got it. Why don't you just buy another (characterless) domain just for the chat?

Won't cost you much and would be a very nice solution.
