Status button in LZ client

When I do right click on any user in LZ client, I can see status button, but it's not active.
What is its purpose? Can I change status of any user via my client?

No, I am sorry. You can only change your own status (that's why it's not active).

Sad. How can I change other users status? I'm trying to use modification of SignOff() function, status changes only only for a few seconds. How can I deny status exchange between server and client?
