When operator A changes a message status to closed, the message still shows open on operator B's screen. We currently have hundreds of open messages we need to respond to so this is causing double responses. Do the lists exist locally on each machine and then get synched up globally after logging off and on?

Is there any type of solution to this that allows multiple operators to go through and reply to open messages without double replies?

Thanks for reporting this issue.

Which version of LiveZilla is this?
Since when do you experience this?
Are all operators affected or just a few?

Sorry for the delay.

version 4.0.1.1.
It was brought to my attention a week or so before I posted on the forum however it's probably always happened.
Yes all operators are affected.

I can tell you that I am not aware of this problem and I it sounds like a problem with a broken installation or database.

Can you reproduce this problem on a fresh install based on 4.1.0.3?

I can't upgrade to 4.1.0.3 we have nearly 100 operators at 13 locations so it costs a few thousand dollars of IT time to upgrade. We only upgrade major versions or if there's a feature we really need.

And just to clarify the issue - you and me see an open message. I reply to the message and close it. You still see it as open and may also reply which results in a duplicate reply. I'm not sure when you would see it as closed (next login?) but for us it's not real-time.

We are not asking for an update, you just setup another new and fresh installation on the same webserver. If the problem remains, it's a problem with your server configuration. If not, there's a problem with you existing installation.

Btw. do all operators face this problem? Or just a few?

OK it looks like this is actually working fine - I'm not sure what the heck was going on before.
