Hi,

I've installed Livezilla 4.1.0.3 on my web site and the client logs in fine. The file permissions and database validate OK too.

When I go to the server test page and click the Demo Chat button the window loads fine, but the chat request never appears in the client. I also can't see any visitors.

The following is displayed in the web chat window:

System is getting started. [Sat Apr 07 2012 14:58:26 GMT+0100]

A representative will be connected, please be patient.

We are still trying to connect you, please be patient. If you don't want to wait please leave a message. Thank you!

No chat requests pop up in the client, and I've tried creating new users / groups and adjusting permissions.

When I set the user to Offline in the client, the web chat window displays the following message straight away:

The representative has left the conversation. If you have further questions please leave a message. Thank you!

It seems that the web chat window is aware of the status of the user in the LiveZilla client, but the chat requests just don't make it through. Is there anything else I can try?

I've checked the 'Log' tab and it only shows that the user has signed in. Initially I did get an error about safe_mode being on, but my host recommended installing PHPFCGI and the error no longer appears.

Kind regards,

James

Hello James,

Thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately, we are not aware of this problem and I am not able to provide a solution at this time. As this is no general problem, this must be an incompatibility with your PHP/MySQL or webserver configuration. In any way, we would need access to an affected installation via FTP and MySQL in order to track down this issue. If you like us to start our investigation, please provide us with all details and we will have a look at this ASAP.

Thanks for your understanding.
