There was no mention of any fees until after I had installed 4 on my computer. When I went to upgrade the server then it mentioned a fee (but no amount.) I think it should be clear from the start.

I am a small business and don't want to have to pay now.
But how can I uninstall and revert back to version 3?
(I did not install on the server by the way)

Thanks

Never mind it wasn't worth the pain. I just paid.
But to be frank I think the way the upgrade was forced onto me was sneaky.

LiveZilla has never supported downgrades. Not in the freeware versions (2.x,3.x) and not in 4.x.

Furthermore, there's a dialog stating that 4.x will require a license with no option to step back when initiating the update wizard. Can't see anything sneaky here, sorry.

I hear you and I might have been a bit harsh but that dialogue was only there after I had installed on computer (Not server) so it was too late to go back. I just thought it was a regular update.
But its a fantastic product and is bulletproof. I just think it should be clearer.

Im not sure if I could have stayed with old free version?
In any case I just paid straight up

LiveZilla needs to be compatible with several other products (web browsers, webservers, windows OS, MySQL, PHP ...). Sooner or later, LiveZilla 3 will run into compatibility problems with one of these components. All web applications require regular updates and we are not able to provide these updates for free anymore.

Not the mention the new (and upcoming) features of version 4.x.

Thanks for your understanding - and thanks for your support.
