Ok, so my account got deleted here, fair enough.

However, has anyone experienced issues with Events not working in this new 4.0.1.0? Namely the Chat Invitation. The floating window just doesnt appear, if I manually send an invite, it'll work.

Also, if I edit the event's Chat Invitation when there's an existing event (Event>External Actions>Configure Invitation), I get an Unexpected Error window with

If we purchased the operator licence(s), do we get special priority?

And you know why. I don't do this for fun.

Regarding your question, I am not aware of any problems in this area so far.

I need to investigate if this is a general problem and come back to you then. Thanks.

Thank you.

Can I ask a question. When are the open times of your Live Help? Seems that when I visit, no-one is online? When I try to leave a message, it asks for my Customer Number, which, to the life of me, I didn 't know I had one?

At this time, we are online not too often but we want to provide "real" online support in the near future (another reason for the new pricing concept).

The customer number can be found on your invoices or under "Edit my details" within the premium section. If you are logged on, you can also click on help and it will add the number automatically.

I also experience many issues with the new 4.0.1.0 version when it comes to creating events. Often they don't work - if for example I create an overlay event and then go back to modify it, the whole software crashes. I have heavily been using "events" on the previous versions without any problem and I am a bit disappointed I am now paying more for less reliability. Do you think you could fix those issues ASAP ?

Many Thanks

We try to fix all issues ASAP. We are not able to reproduce it so far but we are still working on it.

It seems that this problem is related to to opacity value of the background. Leaving the background away could be a temporary workaround.

Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this on any of our servers.

Could one of you please look up the data type of the field background_opacity from the MySQL table event_action_overlays?

It should be double. If it's not double, please try to change it. If it is double, please have a look at the content/value of the field and post it here.

Thanks.

It is double, and the last 4 are set to 0.5. - there's about 20 entries.

Any entries greater than 1.0 in there?

There's 2 with 5, the rest are 0 and 0.5

These two should be set to 0.5 as well.

That will probably fix the error in the client. Please check if it sets the value back to 5 when you edit the regarding event / invitation and let me know. Thanks.

Still crashes/errors.

the shadow_x and shadow_y are set to 5 too by the way, for those 2 entries

They stayed at 0.5, but as it crash/errors still, I'm not sure the table will be updated?

It did update, but it added an entry in the table not updated it - I guess this is why I have 30 odd entries in there?

That's not the expected behaviour, indeed.

Do you see any chance to provide us an access to the affected installation? That could shorten up things dramatically.

Thanks.

I deleted all the tables and rein hstalled everything, now it states they are all Innodb tables...... But... It still gives this

Value of '5' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'Minimum' and 'Maximum'.
Parameter name: Value
BVKG7D3SL1

when I try to open/edit a current Chat Invitation (event)

Allright, I didn't expect this would fix it but it was necessary as well.

Let's face the second one. Can you create an operator account for me? I think I know what it is but I need to check if I am right.

Thanks.

Ok, I was wrong, there's mixed InnoDB and MyISAM tables, but I guess that's the norm?

Does it need to be an admin account or just a normal?
