I am noticing that the automatic invite is not being sent to all visitors.

Also, how can I set it up, so that it comes from a general group, and not just 1 operator?

I am having the issue where the chat invite is not being triggered at all, no matter what I put for the trigger.

You can set up all operators you like to send invitations. At this time, it's not possible to select a group but that's on our list.

I guess that one of your settings does prevent this. Feel free to post your complete configuration and we will have a look at it.

Patrick,

I appreciate the response. I managed to just keep playing around with the software and got it all to work.

I put the client and visitor poll frequencies to 1 and now it is working the way I like.

However, I am noticing something new. Not that big of a deal, but never have done it before.

If someone goes into chat, whether I talk to them or not and then they leave, it keeps their information saved. I have been testing this software, and now everytime I go, it already has my name entered. Never saved it before, so not sure what setting might be causing this.

This would be very beneficial. It would be awesome, just a general messaged was used, and then when someone clicked on "start chat" it would go to the first available operator.

I am guessing the way it would work right now is this:

I have 4 operators.

So, someone goes to the site, and my name pops up and I take the chat.

Then someone else comes to the site, then the next available one shows up and takes that chat

and so on

Is this correct?

Yes. When multiple operators are checked, it will select the operator by random. Please keep in mind that a group based invitation would not have the personal touch of an operator based invitation (photo + name).
