Hi there,

I have successfully installed livezilla on my ebay listing, however I would like to gather the user's id (visitor) and the item title from an ebay listing page and pass them automatically to the field "Name" and a custom field I have added "Item". Is there any possible way to implement this, having as a fact the ebay does not allow php or javascript. The item's number is included in webpage's URL e.g.: (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-HTC-MYTOUCH-3G-MAGIC-UNLOCKED-ANDROID-PHONE-WHITE-/260756984358?pt=Cell_Phones&hash=item3cb653d226) Is there any possible way to get page's title

NEW HTC MYTOUCH 3G MAGIC UNLOCKED ANDROID PHONE WHITE | eBay
and pass it on livezilla? Any luck with the username? It would be great if we could also show specific item's picture on the contact window.

Thanks in advance,

George

ps: Sorry for my english ;)

Yes, you can add a area code to the chat button code:
LiveZilla Server Admin -> Link generator -> Advanced -> Parameters
- If you like to suggest a new feature, please click here.

Do I have to encode and add each different element (item name etc...) to the post link for each page manually, or is there any code which gets page's title and pass it to "item" field on contact form automatically?

The easiest way would be to create new chat button code everytime you start an acution. Just enter the name of the auction into the area field (as plaintext) and add it to the auction sourecode.

Just an FYI -- you can't put a chat link into an Ebay listing, but you can put it in a store home page. Easy way to get kicked off of Ebay...

Here's the text from Ebay:

Restricted:
You can include a live chat link in your About Me page or custom Stores pages, but not in your Store home page.

Not Allowed:
Links or other connections to live chat systems. You may include your chat user names in an item description, but not a link to chat.

Link > http://pages.ebay.co...ting-links.html and scroll down to 'Other Links'.
