I like the product and came recommended by our hosting company. Do you have a language module so that we can read and write English our end and client visitor can read and write in his language, for example client in Moscow. There is a module available for Windows Live Messenger, bit that has no privacy, we need our own in-house live chat. Please let me know as soon as possible, as this is now very urgent for us. Thanks

A russian language is included by default for the customers web client. Furthermore there's an automatic translation service available in the latest version.

Thanks for the reply. Can I just ask you regarding the operation and functions we need, just to confirm. We are presently on a 30 day trial with ..., but it is run off their server, not locally, which is a security problem for us as we need to encrypt. However, it does what we want which is for us to read and write in English our end and caller to read and write in his language. The translation is done on the fly and the program recognises the language automatically. What they have actually done is link Google Translate into their existing ... program. That's what we need, but in standalone as your program is, which I would like to use as you come highly recommended by our webhost who has used yours for years. Thanks very much.

Yes, that feature is already available in 3.3.1.0. Look here: LiveZilla Server Admin -> Server Configuration -> Chat
Activate the feature in the chat window when needed.

Generally very good, does what we need up to a point. The big problem, and maybe we have just missed a setting, is that if a caller arrives speaking, say Hindustani, the program does not recognise the language to translate the response, which needs to be set manually and if the operator doen't recognise the language then the whole point is lost and so is the conversation.
So, have we missed a setting, if not then is this considered for the next update or version?
Also, the language list differs from the caller's list (which for some reason does not include French) to the operator's list which is also much larger, I suspect the full Google Translate list, which seems not to have been updated in the caller section.
Otherwise, great program, like it a lot, so it would be great if we could solve this little glitch.

Hi Derek, could you please let me have your views on the last post, I would like to set this up permanently. Another thought came up this morning, if all else fails, is there a possibility to change the email address box for the caller to read 'your language' instead?? Regards, Leslie

Just talked to one of our developers:
1.) Detection by selection will be available next week.
2.) The missing or double (see hebrew) languages will also be fixed. If you don't want to wait, please have a look at _lib/languages.inc.php on your webserver. You can select all files you like to offer by changing the boolean value (second value in the array) to true or false.

Thanks very much Derek, I have a added a 'your language' field to the form and columns for now. Now we know there will be an update next week we can wait until then, as I really like the program. Regards Leslie

Derek, could you please advise how to get webcam fully operational from both parties. I have set webcam in action here, but it only shows a preview of me. How to set up so that other party caller sees me and I see him on my screen? This is now becoming an ipmortant issue for us, so your guidance would be very much appreciated.

The webcam function is NOT bi-directional. Sorry.
