I have the latest build of livezilla.
I have 2 events set up. The first event is to serve an invite message to all visitors that have spent 20 seconds on any page of the site. The second event is to blacklist everyone that comes to the site from a specific referer url.
The problem I have is that the blacklist is still serving chat requests.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Did you setup two events with one URL (one white one black) each OR did you setup one event with two urls (one black one white)?

The event is laid out as such:
Event/URL
With check boxes for:
URL
Referer
Time On Site
Blacklist This URL (Blacklist entries take priority over whitelist entries)
Then There is a Overal Criteria Section laid out as such:
Event will be triggered when all of the (checked) criterias below have been met
Check boxes for:
Visitor has visited (#) or more single pages (where (#) is equal to the number)
Visitor has spent (#) seconds on website (where (#) is equal to the number)
Visitor was not in a chat before
Visitor has not declined an invitation before
Visitor has not accepted an invitation before
There there is a Priority section with a check box for Event priority and a box where you can set the number.
Then there is a multi trigger section which I have just ignored.
So let me explain what I am trying to do.
I want to trigger a chat to every single visitor to the site no matter what page they come to or where they come from except with one exception. That one exception will only ever come from one referer.
So here is how I have set up the 2 events:
Event 1. I want every new visitor to the site to get a chat request if they are on the site for 20 seconds, no matter where they come from or what page they land on. So here is how I have it set:
URL: http*mysite*
Referer: NOTHING HERE
Time On Site: 20
Blacklist This URL (Blacklist entries take priority over whitelist entries) NOTHING HERE
Visitor has visited (#) or more single pages THIS IS UNCHECKED
Visitor has spent (20) seconds on website
Visitor was not in a chat before CHECKED
Visitor has not declined an invitation before CHECKED
Visitor has not accepted an invitation before CHECKED
The URL Criteria looks like this when added: [http*mysite*][20][+]
Event priority is set to 2
Event 2. I want to block the invite going out to any visitor that arrives on the site having come from a specific referer, no matter what page they arrive at. So here is how it is set:
URL: http*mysite*
Referer: http*referer*
Time On Site: 5
Blacklist This URL (Blacklist entries take priority over whitelist entries) CHECKED
Visitor has visited (#) or more single pages THIS IS UNCHECKED
Visitor has spent (5) seconds on website
Visitor was not in a chat before CHECKED
Visitor has not declined an invitation before CHECKED
Visitor has not accepted an invitation before CHECKED
The URL Criteria looks like this when added: [http*mysite*][http*referer*[5][-]
Event priority is set to 1
The problem I have is that visitors that originate from http*referer* are still getting served chat requests. Where am I going wrong?

You just one event instead of 2 and setup both URLs for the one event. That should do it.

I can't see how I could that. How can I set up 2 urls for 1 event and blacklist just one of the URLS, it does not make sense.

Create an event, add an URL to it, add another URL to it and mark the second url as blacklist. Couldn't be easier.

Yes, got that now. I couldn't see for looking that you could add 2 bits of info to 1 event.
I think you may get more questions on this in the future :)
Seems to be working like a charm now.
Thanks...Great software by the way. Love the price :)

A little confused now. Just noticed that some are still getting through and being served with a chat request even though I have blocked them....
