that thread was not meant for animated gifs...that was just to explain how to use png transparency since the server admin recreates the images with opaque backgrounds.

here is my addon for animated images and any other image format.

viewtopic.php?p=2555#p2555

it's not compatible with 3.1.8.3 but it will be in a few...

Meanwhile you can do what I did.

Open image.php
Change all png in gif.
Upload you gif files (same syntax/name as the png files)
Save and upload image.php file.

cheers
Marco

I'm creating some buttons but I'm having some problems with the Livezilla Logo. Can you give us the link to a logo at least 32x32 with transparent background? I'm making some templates here and the logo is sucking when I use some background colors due to the cutting and pasting of the logos I managed to find.

When I'm done creating the buttons, I'll post theme here in PSD format, so anyone will be able to use them in their native languages.

I'm not sure what problem you are having...if you are using the button generator then STOP! The button generator is not compatible with my addon or with transparent backgrounds. Export with Photoshop or whatever you use and upload with your control panel or FTP.

No... I'm doing it on Photoshop... I'll post here a link to one of the pictures I've made but it got awful. When you see the PSD file I think it will be a little easier to understand.
Get the file at http://www.caravan.com.br/imagens/livez ... _1_mod.psd and check specially the 'marrom' (wich means brown in portuguese). Its one of the imagens that is awful in the online icon. You can notice a 'shadow' arround the icon with some colors that are not matching with the custom background.

BTW, what is this 'button generator' you are talking about? I think I haven't seen it before.

I then created another one in blue, and I'm using it now at my website. It got good but for that I used a 'default blue' set I found here. For the different colors or styles the 'shadow' is a little weird.

Actually it's called Link Generator which is part of the LiveZilla Server Admin application. I am sure you've used it already. ;)

This one I used... I thought it was something else he was talking about, because using that system I was able to get buttons working with transparency with no problems, but latter I got problems when I was making the pictures at Photoshop. They got good, but not as good as I wanted them to be. That's why a asked for a LiveZilla logo with transparent background in a bigger resolution. This way I'll be able to make different buttons to match the websites we develop.
